Prague Hostels Location
How much is a night in a Prague hostel going to cost?
The prices for Prague hostels range from 450 CZK (18 euros) to 800 CZK (32 euros) per night, depending on the season and the area where the hostel is located. Please remember that affordable hostels in the city center tend to be booked well in advance, so do not rely on finding last-minute accommodation during Christmas, Easter, or festival weekends.
Is it safe to stay in a Prague hostel?
Prague is a relatively safe city, with the most commonly reported crimes being petty theft and disturbances of the peace at night. You will be absolutely fine walking to your hostel at night unless you are staying in the outskirts (e.g., near metro stations like Hůrka, Černý Most, Luka, or Letňany), where the streets are not sufficiently lit. The Prague city center is generally risk-free in that regard! However, we do not recommend leaving the windows and doors to your room open or leaving your valuables unattended.
